Terms and Conditions
Coaching services provided consist of:
- Three to four in-person meetings per month (as per agreement)
- Homework and / or self-study materials
- At the discretion of the Coach: weekly phone or e-mail follow-up
Client is aware and agrees that:
Coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy, or any other form of mental health care treatment or therapy, nor is it to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business or other qualified professionals. If appropriate, Client will seek independent professional guidance in the areas indicated above and understands that all decisions and actions in these areas are Client’s sole responsibility.
Success in meeting Client’s goals is not guaranteed.
If Client is late for a session, the session will complete at the scheduled time.
Products that are electronically delivered are generally available immediately when ordered. Online coaching may require up to 24 business hours of preparation to provide the access to the online coaching materials. The online coaching consists of giving the buyer an account online, with access to links for the interactive coursework.
Products that are physical (CDs, books) are generally shipped and delivered within seven business days or less. Shipment is provided via US mail. Other delivery options available include UPS delivery, and accelerated delivery.
If Client cancels a session, Coach and Client will make reasonable efforts to re-schedule the session within the timeframe of this Agreement. If it becomes impossible to re-schedule a session cancelled by Client, then at Coach’s discretion, that session may become a missed session that will not be made up.
The Coach recommends and prefers that cancellations be at least 24 hours before a scheduled session, to allow coach’s effective use of time as well as to increase the opportunity for re-scheduling.
For most events run by Coach that involve a scheduled date and group attendance, individuals can receive an unconditional and full refund if cancellation is provided at least 48 hours before the event. However, for some events that have special requirements such as space reservations or small-group size, specific cancellation policies may be provided to registrants, and will be included and visible at the time of registration for the event before payment is completed.
Returns / Refunds
For CDs, books, and other physical products, a refund will be provided if request is made within 10 days of receipt of that product and product is returned undamaged and complete within 30 days of receipt of the product. The refund amount will be product price and any sales tax, but excluding any shipping and handling fees. Refund will be provided after the Coach receives the returned physical product in question.
Policies for in-person engagements such as individual coaching, group coaching, and professional speaking, are provided under Terms and Conditions above, or with the Agreement for that specific engagement.
All personal information (name, address, phone number, email address, and so on) is kept private and is never given away, rented, or sold to third parties. If you subscribe to any newsletter or blog provided by David B. Alexander or New Jewel Services Inc. / Insight and Energy, you will be able easily to unsubscribe at any time.
For all coaching and in-person events, the content of the sessions and any notes kept are confidential. The Coach will not disclose the information Client shares during sessions (individual or group), except as authorized by Client in writing or as required by law.
Client understands that on occasion Coach may anonymously share completely generalized information for training, or for consultation purposes with other coaching professionals. Client’s identity and any information that could lead to Client’s identification will remain entirely confidential.
